Our Speaker is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Philippines’ Home Development Mutual Fund or more popularly known in the Philippines as Pag-IBIG Fund.

He joined the agency in 2008 as Vice President of its Legal and General Counsel Group. In 2011, he was given greater responsibility and was designated as concurrent head of Pag-IBIG Fund’s Corporate Affairs. In 2013 he was promoted to the position of Senior Vice President for Administrative Services Sector.

At present, as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, he is in-charge of the Support Services Cluster of the agency, leading the following units, namely, Administrative, Human Resources, Finance, Treasury, Investment, and Information Technology.

Our speaker wrote the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the law that further strengthened the mandate of Pag-IBIG Fund. He is also the author of the book, “Contributing to Peace Through Amnesty: The Philippine Experience.” The book is part of the Conflict Prevention and Peace Building Programme of the Philippine government, and was published jointly by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) – Philippines, and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process.
