Prof. Manoj Anand took charge as a Whole-time Member (Finance) at Pension Fund Regulatory & Development Authority (PFRDA), New Delhi (INDIA) on October 1, 2020 and is overseeing the departments of: Regulation & Supervision of Pension Funds, Custodian of Securities and NPS Trust, Regulation of Points of Presence, Redressal of Subscribers’ Grievances, Investigation & Surveillance, Human Resources, Legal, and Finance & Accounting.
Dr. Anand has worked on comprehensive review of PFRDA Regulations as a member of Regulation Advisory Committee during the financial year 2023-24.
Prof. Anand has more than three and a half decades of academic, research, consulting and administrative experience with the leading business school in India such as Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, Indian Institute of Management Indore, Management Development Institute Gurgaon, Panjab University Chandigarh. He has several research publications to his credit. He has worked on Central Excise valuation as an Indian Cost Accounts Service Officer with Customs and Central Excise Commissionerate Chandigarh during the period 1991-95.
Prof. Anand is a Ph.D. and has Master’s degree in Commerce with specialization in Finance & Accounting (with distinction & First Position) from Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Master’s degree in Business Laws from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Dr. Anand’s research interests include Pension Economics and Finance and Infrastructure Project Finance.
