Torsten Albrecht is the Principal Investment Officer at the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) where he leads the Fixed Income and Structured Products team in Financial Institutions and Funds Clients Department, Global. His team has invested in various issuances of Infrastructure Asset Backed Securities and manages fixed income bond portfolios, such as ESG and Asia Climate Bond portfolios.

Prior to joining AIIB in 2022, Torsten was working for Deutsche Bank for more than 20 years in Frankfurt, London, Hong Kong and Singapore, where he worked in Financial Institutions Corporate Finance, Global Markets Securitization and Credit Structuring. He was also responsible for the management of Deutsche Bank’s regional treasury portfolio for Asia.

Torsten earned his MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA in Los Angeles.
